Home Weddings FAQ When can I get married?
When can I get married?

Your wedding ceremony must legally take place before 6pm.  We will usually require at least 1 months notice for banns to be read.

We don't normally conduct marriage services on a Sunday because the churches are used for services and baptisms.

Although Saturdays are the most common days for a wedding, we will take services on other days, subject to the availablity of a priest and the church.

St Giles holds Saturday weddings at 12noon and 2:30pm.  Please contact your local vicar to discuss particular dates and times in their churches.
