I/we are under 18, can we still be married?

If you are between the ages of 16 and 18 you can be married in church with the written permission of your parents or legal guardians.

If your parents are separated or divorced, the parent or guardian with legal custody must give their consent.  If custody is shared, then the consent of both parties must be given.

Those under the age of 16 cannot be married under British Law.
