I don't live in Wrexham, can I still be married there?
You can be married in a Wrexham church, even if neither of you lives in Wrexham, if you attend that church regularly.  After you have attended for 6 months you will be able to go on the electoral roll (a list of members) of that Church.  Once you are on the electoral roll of a church you will be able to arrange a wedding there.  We do not accept bookings before you have been accepted onto the roll.

Alternatively, if you have a special reason to want to get married in a particular church - which is not covered by the list in the "Who can get married in Church" article - you may apply, for a fee, to the Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury for a Special Licence.  Your local vicar can assist you with this.  The licence will only be granted if there is a strong case to be made for being married in Wrexham and not in the church local to where you live and we can offer no guarantee of acceptance.
