If you are planning to have a printed Order of Service, the normal outline follows below.

You only need to print the words in bold type.

Please let your Vicar see a draft so that it can be checked before you go ahead with printing.

Music for the Entry of the Bride
Please print the title of your chosen piece with the composer’s name.

The Welcome

Hymn

The first hymn is sung here. You should print the words in full, with the name of the writer in italics at the end.
The Preface


The Readings

You may wish to print the Bible references (the Priest can help you with this) and the name of the person reading it.

The second hymn is sung here. You should print the words in full, with the name of the writer in italics at the end.

The Marriage

The Blessing of the Marriage

The Signing of the Registers

The Prayers

The Prayers conclude with The Lord’s Prayer. You may wish to print it out in full.

The third hymn is sung here, if you are having 3 hymns. You should print the words in full, with the name of the writer in italics at the end.

You need to print the details of the music you have chosen.
