An initial encounter with Jesus Christ can be followed by Satan's lure of money, drink, sex and depression, which can lead to self harm. But the Lord is faithful and whenever someone turns back to him, although the dark forces try to hinder a return, the Lord deals with them and restores to the Christian the joy of fellowship with himself.
