We were blessed with absolutely glorious weather for Pentecost Sunday, the 23rd May.  Brilliant sunshine and a brilliant time of fellowship and fun!

A goodly turnout of members from Bethel and St Margaret's enjoyed games and activities outside Bethel from 4pm til 5pm then went inside for an All-age "Messy church" type service. The "congregation," who were seated around small tables in a cafe style for the first part of the service, were then encouraged to explore the prayer/activity stations around the room focusing on understanding a little of the Holy Spirit through the images of wind and fire. The service closed with a rousing rendition of "The Spirit Lives to Set Us Free" accompanied by an ad hoc percussion band! The afternoon drew to a close with a splendid barbecue, courtesy of Wally and Jan. A big "Thankyou" to all who organised, prepared, joined in, cleared up - in fact - "thankyou" to everyone who was there!
