Mother's Union

St. Giles Mothers Union meets on the second Monday in the month at 7.30 in church, unless otherwise advised by the programme .

A meeting can contain speakers, meditation, prayers, discussion, project work, visits out. St.Giles MU also runs the deanery choir, to sing at functions and church services within the groups. MU is a christian organisation working to help and support work in the communities and overseas, Being part of a World wide organisation we work towards the same Aims and Objectives as other members throughout the world.

This year’s theme is ‘Relationships, not Rules’.

January 11th Annual General Meeting: venue to be confirmed.

February 8th Jane Wright, with two young people, regarding ‘Young Carers’.

March 8th A Holy Communion service for Lent, with a talk by the Revd. Anthapurusha.

March 29th Meet in church for Monday of Holy Week.

April This month’s meeting has been replaced by March 29th.

May 10th Talking about Baptism.

June 14th Mrs. Marion Watts, Diocesan Lay Director of ‘Cursillo’.

July 12th An evening outing to Christ Church, Bala, including a tour of the re-ordered church; followed by supper. August No formal meeting.

September 13th Mrs. Jill Jones, accompanied by Mrs. Norah Lucas, will tell us about their connections with a school in Lesotho.

October 11th Sian Harris to speak about her activities on the Experience Exchange Programme.

November 8th A talk re Autism.

December 13th To be announced.

March 16th - Diocesan Festival, St. Asaph Cathedral, at 7 p.m.
April 29th - Council Meeting at St. Margaret’s, 9.30 for 10.00 a.m.

lunchtime organ recital series
and tours of the tower have
been suspended.
