St James welcomes adults as well as younger people to its congregation. We regularly have confirmation classes for its younger people as well as separate classes for adults, although these both may be combined with other churches in the Parish as numbers dictate.

Classes are normally followed-up by a confirmation service in St Giles Parish Church.
